Good soil, good soil. I wanna be good soil, good soil.

I don't wanna be rocky ground. 
I don't wanna be thorny ground. 
I don't wanna be weedy ground. 
I just wanna be growing ground. 
Good soil for You is what I want to be. 
Lord, make Your word grow grow grow in me.

A man scatters seeds all around the town. 
Some they fall on the rocky ground. 
Well they get trodden on by and by. 
The birds eat 'em up, the seeds gonna die. 
Some get choked by the weeds and thorns. 
Like the worries & the pleasures & the riches of the world. 
But some seed lands on the good soil you know. 
And that's when the seed is gonna grow grow grow.

So don t be like the rocky ground 
And don't be like the weedy ground 
And don't be like the thorny ground. 
You've gotta be like growing ground.
