On Day 1 (God of Creation)


On day 1 God said "Let there be light"
The light was day and the dark was night

	And the Lord God saw it was very very good
	And we all say "God, you are very very good"
	There was evening and morning, another new day
	God of creation, we praise you today

On day 2 God said "Let there be sky"
The waters were wet and the sky was dry

	And the Lord God saw ...	

On day 3 God said "Let there be land"
Where the plants could grow and the trees could stand

	And the Lord God saw ...	

On day 4 God said "Let there be sun"
In the day, then at night there were stars and the moon

	And the Lord God saw ...
	
On day 5 God said "Let the birds fly"
Let the fish fill the sea and the birds fill the sky

	And the Lord God saw ...	

On day 6 God said "Let there be man"
In the image of God, He created them

	And the Lord God saw ...	

Optional: On Day 7 God said "let there be rest"

You may wish to finish there, or add "we've finished this song, so let's sing the next" - but you may not.
