The 2001 Stonking Christmas Mix

This is kind of a single, but padded out to almost album proportions. Nevertheless, it retails at the price of a single.

I mixed a few songs together for Christmas 2000, so that I could have a rest from playing the guitar for a morning at Church. So successful was it, that I have issued the resultant noise. There are many noises from the album "Hold The Light" which are out of place, which makes them sound interesting. This is the sort of material which usualle emerges after a long carreer in music, but I thought I'd get it out of the way early on!

You've got the mix. And what exactly have you got?
Well, for starters, 2 versions of the mix itself - part one is all as one lump and part three gives you each song separately. Then there are a handful of outtakes from this year's "Hold The Light" album. All but "Jesus You Have My Heart" appear on the album, but these earlier versions demanded to see the light of day. "Jesus You Have..." never quite sounded right, so it'll have to wait until next time round.

Trevor Howard is in one way or another responsible for all of the sounds on this CD, except the following:
"Intro" is taken from Also Sprach Zarathustra, by Richard Strauss.
"Clap & Sing" was written by Trevor Howard / Brent Walker.

If you listen carefully, you may be able to distinguish electric & acoustic guitar, Yamaha PSR-280 keyboard, various samples & sound affects and the voice of Trevor Howard.

These songs were written between 1995 & 2001, are copyright HoWay Music and were recorded during 2000 & 2001 at Newark Studio, Hempsted, Gloucester.
