The Blues Hour         on   SevernFM

Presented by Dr. Wart Hoover every Monday 10-11pm

Listen at (there is also a Listen Again facility)

Severn FM is a community radio station serving the south end of Gloucester and broadcasting to the world over the internet.

"from Lead Belly to Led Zeppelin"

The Blues Hour covers local gigs, new music and anything else in the blues world which we think might interest you. We cover anything blues related, "from Lead Belly to Led Zeppelin", even if it's a bit country, gospel, jazz, rock, metal, prog, bluegrass, rock 'n' roll, ... as blues music is the foundation for most of the music we listen to in the 21st century. The key is to remind listeners that it is still the blues... and by doing so, we are "keeping the blues relevant".

The programme always kicks off with an instrumental... The Chester Stroll, by Storm Warning
